# How to Assign Your Box Builder to a Custom Template

# By default, your Box Builder page uses your Shopify theme's Default page template. If you want to add specific Shopify sections (like a FAQ, customer reviews, or unique banners etc...) to your Box Builder page without affecting your other pages sharing that same template, you need to create and assign a custom template.

### 🎨 Step 1: Create a New Template in Your Shopify Theme:
### 

1. From your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store** > **Themes**.
2. Click **Edit theme** next to your active theme to open the Theme Editor.
3. At the top of the screen, click the page dropdown menu and select **Pages** > **Create template**.
4. Name your template (e.g., `box-builder`) and ensure it's based on the `Default page`.
5. Click **Create template**, then click **Save** in the top right corner.

### 📌 Step 2: Assign the Template to Your Box Builder Page
* Go back to your Shopify admin dashboard.
* Navigate to **Online Store** > **Pages**.
* Click on the page automatically created by Rapi Bundle (e.g., your `Mix & Match` page).
* On the right side of the screen, locate the **Theme template** section.
* Change the dropdown selection from `Default page` to your newly created template (e.g., `box-builder`).
* Click **Save**.

### 🚀 Step 3: Customize Your Page Independently
Now that your Box Builder has its own dedicated template, you can go back to **Online Store** > **Themes** > **Customize**, open your newly created template e.g.: `box-builder` template, and add any Shopify sections you want. Your changes will only appear on this specific page!

| ‼️ Tip: If the Rapi Box Builder interface does not display automatically on your custom template, you can manually add it back. In the left sidebar of the Theme Editor, click on Add block or Add section > Go to the Apps tab > Select Box Builder Page (Rapid), then save your changes.
