How to Assign Your Box Builder to a Custom Template
By default, your Box Builder page uses your Shopify theme's Default page template. If you want to add specific Shopify sections (like a FAQ, customer reviews, or unique banners etc...) to your Box Builder page without affecting your other pages sharing that same template, you need to create and assign a custom template.
Here is how to do it in 3 quick steps:
🎨 Step 1: Create a New Template in Your Shopify Theme:
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Click Edit theme next to your active theme to open the Theme Editor.
- At the top of the screen, click the page dropdown menu and select Pages > Create template.
- Name your template (e.g.,
box-builder) and ensure it's based on theDefault page. - Click Create template, then click Save in the top right corner.

📌 Step 2: Assign the Template to Your Box Builder Page
- Go back to your Shopify admin dashboard.
- Navigate to Online Store > Pages.
- Click on the page automatically created by Rapi Bundle (e.g., your
Mix & Matchpage). - On the right side of the screen, locate the Theme template section.
- Change the dropdown selection from
Default pageto your newly created template (e.g.,box-builder). - Click Save.

🚀 Step 3: Customize Your Page Independently
Now that your Box Builder has its own dedicated template, you can go back to Online Store > Themes > Customize, open your newly created template e.g.: box-builder template, and add any Shopify sections you want. Your changes will only appear on this specific page!
