How to Enable Subscriptions in Rapi Bundle

This guide explains how to enable and configure subscription options for your bundles, allowing customers to purchase eligible products on a recurring schedule.

📝 Note on How Subscriptions Work

Rapi Bundle manages the bundle creation and display, but recurring billing is handled through subscription apps.
To offer subscriptions on a bundle, you need to:

  1. Install a compatible subscription app (such as Appstle or Seal Subscriptions) from the Shopify App Store.
  2. Set up a subscription offer on the individual product(s) inside that app.
  3. Enable the subscription toggle inside Rapi Bundle for that specific bundle.

âš™ī¸ Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Enable the Subscription Toggle

  1. In the bundle you want to edit, go to the Offers section.
  2. Scroll down to the Subscription settings and switch the toggle to Enable.

Step 2: Customize the Subscription Widget

Configure how the subscription option appears to your customers on the product page:

  • Choose a Template: Select a design layout that matches your store's style.
  • Customize Labels: Set custom Title and Subtitle text (e.g., "Subscribe & Save 10%").
  • Styling & Colors: Adjust colors to seamlessly blend with your theme.

Step 3: Save and Publish

Click Publish to make the bundle live on your storefront!
When customers select the subscription option and add the bundle to their cart, the recurring purchase is automatically applied. Their future orders will then follow the delivery frequency configured in your subscription app.

By following these steps, you can add the subscription option to your bundle

âš ī¸ Important Pricing & Checkout Notes

🔴 How Discounts interact with Subscriptions

Subscription discounts are calculated before any other bundle or Shopify promotional discounts.

  • This order of application can slightly affect the final displayed price.
  • Best Practice: To prevent pricing confusion, we strongly recommend configuring all product discounts directly within Rapi Bundle.

🔴 Experiencing Higher "Recurring Subtotal" Amounts at Checkout?

When testing your subscription bundle on the Shopify Checkout page, you might notice that the "Recurring Subtotal" line displays a higher amount than the discounted cart total.

â„šī¸ Don't worry, your customers will NOT be overcharged! This is a known visual display limitation on Shopify's checkout interface where discounts aren't reflected in the recurring preview line. The actual billed amount will always be correct.
